After spending some time in Cuba touring around the country, I can say without a doubt that Carmen and Carlos have the best Casa Particular that I have been to. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make our holiday special, all while making it seem effortless. I know we were a lot of work - because we had issues with our Visa's and didn't have money for a few days. They completely trusted us and helped us through the entire frustrating process of wiring money... The rooms were clean and quiet and relaxing.... the courtyard was beautiful and Carmen and Carlos were a pleasure to meet. You can tell that they put thought into everything. Dinners were far better at their casa than at the local restaurants and for a much more reasonable pricewith lovely atmosphere (candles and music). They even brought us to the airport together on our last day to see us off with hugs and kisses and I feel like we've made dear friends.Highly recommended. It completely made our trip to Cuba.
